Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 17, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of graveslegalco.com (the “Site”), which is operated by Graves Legal LLC (“the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. The Site is information, not legal advice

Everything on the Site, including practice area descriptions, articles, and answers to common questions, is general information about Nebraska business law. It is not legal advice, it may not reflect the most recent changes in the law, and it may not apply to your situation. Do not act on anything you read here without speaking to a lawyer about your own facts.

2. No attorney-client relationship through the Site

Reading the Site, sending a consultation request, calling, or emailing does not make you a client of the Firm. An attorney-client relationship begins only when both you and the Firm sign a written engagement letter. Until then, the Firm has not agreed to represent you, has not checked for conflicts of interest, and is not responsible for any deadline in your matter.

3. What to send before you are a client

The consultation form and email are for reaching us and describing your matter in general terms. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information until the Firm has confirmed the engagement in writing. Information you send before an engagement letter is signed is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, but it may not be protected by attorney-client privilege.

4. How an engagement works

Every matter starts with a first meeting, a follow-up, and a written engagement letter. The engagement letter sets out the scope of the work and how it is billed, whether flat fee, retainer, or hourly. Where the engagement letter and these Terms differ, the engagement letter controls for that matter.

5. Past results and testimonials

Descriptions of past work and any client comments on the Site reflect the facts of those matters. They do not predict or guarantee the outcome of yours. Every matter turns on its own facts and the law that applies to it.

6. Content and intellectual property

The text, design, and other content on the Site belong to the Firm unless otherwise noted. You may read, share, and link to pages for personal or informational use. Please do not reproduce or republish the content commercially without written permission.

7. Links to other sites

The Site may link to statutes, agencies, and other resources we do not control. Those links are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any outside site.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nebraska law, the Firm is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content, including indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This section does not limit any duty the Firm owes a client under a signed engagement letter or the Nebraska Rules of Professional Conduct.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute about the Site or these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Lancaster County, Nebraska.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
